Aria Gin is distilled in the heart of Northwest Portland’s scenic and historic Nob Hill Neighborhood. Also known as the “Alphabet District,” the distillery is surrounded by incredible restaurants, boutique shopping, and three other distillery tasting rooms.

The still we use to distill Aria Gin was custom designed and locally built. At 750 gallons, it is one of the largest pot-stills on the west coast.

 

Aria Gin is still the only spirit we distill. Even after five years—no vodka, no whiskey, no rum. Just one really, really good gin.

Tasting Flights

Our tasting room features two distinct $10.00 tasting flight options— an ever changing series of cocktails, or all three of our Distiller’s Reserve series of limited release barrel finished expressions of Aria Portland Dry Gin.

The Cocktail Flight begins with Aria Gin and moves through 4 unique and original Aria Gin cocktails made with Aria Gin and some of the local bitters, syrups, shrubs and tonics we sell in the tasting room. The flight changes roughly once a month and the recipes can always be found here on our website.

The Spirit Flight begins with our classic Aria Gin, followed by our three Aria Distiller’s Reserve Gins—Imbue Bittersweet Vermouth Barrel Finish, Imbue Petal and Thorn Barrel Finish, and Ken Wright Pinot Noir Barrel Finish. Theses are extremely limited edition one-time-only releases. Experience them before they’re gone forever.

Bull in China was founded by Lucas Plant and Daniel Osborne, two Portland-based bar industry vets. What started as a passion for collecting vintage barware, quickly turned into product development of a most prized of possessions—the mixing glass. Every piece in the signature Bull in China line is proudly made by hand in our hometown of Portland, Oregon.

Winter 2019 TASTING ROOM FLIGHT


“MAnhatten”

2½ oz Aria Portland Dry Gin
1 barspoon Hammer and Tongs L’Afroque Vermouth
1 barspoon Demerara Syrup
1 dash Scrappy’s Aromatic Bitters

Combine ingredients with ice. Stir and Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an amarena cherry


Corpse reviver #69

2 oz Aria Portland Dry Gin
1 oz Cocchi Americano
1 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz Simple Syrup
3 Dashes Scrappy’s Aromatic Bitters
2 Dashes Scrappy’s Orange Bitters
5 drops Sadaf Orange Flower Water

Combine ingredients with ice. Shake well and pour into a Collins glass.


Hot for spring

1½ oz Aria Portland Dry Gin
½ oz Cardamaro
¾ oz BGReynolds Orgeat
½ oz Lemon Juice
1 Dash Dandylion and Burdock Bitters
3 oz Hot Water

Combine ingredients and add hot water, or combine all ingredients and heat until pleasantly warm.

GIN & TONIC

1½ oz Aria Portland Dry Gin
½ oz & Tonic Syrup
3 oz Driftwest Water Kefir
